How we came up with Fluffikon!
We are Oli and Jii, the hoomans (= people) behind Fluffikon and the notorious Lalla Soffa! Besides being business partners, we are life partners too.
It’s our love for animals, joyousness, Switzerland, and Morocco that brought this project to life. Moreover, finding a way of living that is going to suit our lifestyle was another motivation behind this enterprise since the nine-to-five routine doesn’t suit us. We then had to think of a business idea: “a job we would love, so we will never have to work a day in our life,” like Confucius once said.
The brainstorming process focussed on common passions and things we love. It didn’t take us long to come up with those:
- Switzerland and Morocco: build a bridge to bring these two cultures closer together
- Animals & Hoomans: developing products that will make fluff buddies and their parents happy
- Contributing to the growth of small businesses rather than big corporations
- Supporting women: helping women to grow their businesses and reach more financial independence
- Environment: having the most minimalistic impact on our dear Mother Earth
- Help causes that are dear to our hearts: animal welfare and mental illnesses
- Brighten lives: a lively product that jazzes up daily lives
- Fun: to enjoy building a cheerful and bubbly brand
With that said, we plan on making Fluffikon THE reference for original and long-lasting Moroccan pillows and fluffy pet beds in Switzerland and overseas :)
